Before the Quest:
Serei lived in a slum area with her brother Lodo who became sickly and needed his sister’s care. Both of their parents had died when Serei was 15 and left behind a horrible debt behind for her and Lodo to pay. Unfortunately the debt was to a ring of thugs called the Sharks and they always harassed Serei for monthly payments and when they weren’t made on time they would rough her and her brother up and take their family possessions leaving them with nothing. Serei was a thief by night and a pub waitress by day making little gold to support herself and her brother.
During the Quest:
Serei became involved in the quest when she was out looking for medicine for her brother Lodo when she ran into a Cato (cat people race) named Kelt. Two of them coincidentally were traveling to the same city and Kelt was having a bit of trouble since Jillian took his special one of a kind weapon. Serei just shrugged and agreed to help him when they ended up fighting demons that were attacking the city by the time they got there. Serei was a valuable member to the party as she had superior hunting, survival, thieving skills. The closest friend she made in the party was Kelt. Despite them always exchanging sarcastic remarks at each other and constantly competing Serei eventually fell in love with Kelt who at first ignored it but, then gave in and married Serei. (teehee)
After the Quest:
Serei and Kelt lived for each other for 4 years before getting married. The Gods blessed them by relieving Serei of the Sharks (by killing them all in the war ^_^;) They now live in a huge house that accommodates 5 of Kelt’s surviving adoptive siblings their own 3 kids and Oni-ka and Lacra’s boy Hiyotashi. Full house eh?
