DEO the God of Darkness. He is Chet and Saree’s child who was cursed by Taro who removed all of his elements that he was to inherit from Chet. As a result of the removal of the primary elements fire,water, wind, earth, lightning, poison a new element darkness was born from the void and transformed DEO into a demon. DEO created the demons to plaque the land to take revenge on the Taro’s creatures.
In the quest DEO used his dark abilities to possess Shadwell and keep the country ignorant of the demons that were beginning to take over the continent and, at the same time claim the elements in the towers so he could be reborn with new power. In the end the sudden possession of elements backfired on DEO causing him to become sick. As punishment his father Chet came to an agreement with Saree and Taro and the the three of them used their powers to create a separate plane for the demons thus banishing DEO.
